A joint exhibition of fine bindings by Fellows and Licentiates of Designer Bookbinders and calligraphy and lettering by The Society of Scribes and Illuminators at the Crafts Council Gallery, London.

Almost thirty years after the major collaborative exhibition ‘Fine Words Fine Books’, which showcased the work of Designer Bookbinders and the Society of Scribes & Illuminators, the two societies are coming together again in a new exhibition of work by society Fellows and Licentiates. Over fifty works of contemporary bookbinding, calligraphy and lettering will be shown in the beautiful Crafts Council Gallery in central London, accompanied by a fully illustrated catalogue.

The exhibition will take place between the 13th March and the 13th April 2024 at the Crafts Council Gallery, 44a Pentonville Road, London, N1 9BY. The gallery will be open from Wednesday through to Saturday (although closed over Easter) between the hours of 11am – 5pm each day and will be invigilated by members of both Designer Bookbinders and the Society of Illuminators and Scribes.
