Masterclasses: One-off classes, often led by international guest tutors, focusing on alternative binding
techniques with an emphasis on the symbiotic relationship between structure and design.
These are 2 – 5 day classes, running all day.
Open Studios: Saturday and Wednesday classes, 10 – 4, held in Salisbury and Beechingstoke, nr. Pewsey,
respectively. Students are taught the basics and then encouraged to research and discover
their particular areas of interest. Everyone works on their own projects at their own pace.

Glenn is a professional bookbinder offering occasional workshops and short courses. Several one-day workshops are held throughout the year at Hull History Centre aimed mainly at beginners and improvers.
Further workshops are sometimes arranged by request at other locations.
Glenn also is the tutor for several three-day residential courses each year at The Grange in Shropshire (see separate listing) looking at more in-depth book structures and associated subjects. He can also offer limited one-to-one tuition opportunities at his own bindery to meet student’s specific requirements, especially for intermediate level binders.
