The book explores the materiality of our world, highlighting how consumerism distracts us from the fear of death—until events inevitably force us to confront reality. The design features two cemeteries: one for humans and one for appliances. Surrounded by the “white noise” of our material existence, we often lose sight of what truly matters and forget the inevitable destination of all things.

The book features grey suede areas, reflecting Lennie’s love for petting soft, furry animals. The cover design incorporates concentric circles, reminiscent of ripples created by a water drop. The centre symbolises Lennie’s innocence and fixation, which ultimately triggers the chain of events leading to the story’s tragic conclusion. Two lines represent the fields of land and human flesh—elements destined to converge. When they do, all dreams dissipate, like stardust.
