Unique
An exhibition of fine bookbinding, book arts and artists’ books, each a UNIQUE art object, created with passion. Inspiration is the book in all its aspects – text, structure, illustration, print and paper – with the completed bindings being as diverse as the individuals who create them.
Following on from the highly successful collaborative exhibition, ‘Covered.Discovered‘ that Designer Bookbinders put on with The Society of Scribes and Illuminators earlier this year, we are really pleased to share that there will be another exhibition of new work by both Fellows and Licentiates of our society in the summer.
Thirty four new bindings, all for sale, will be exhibited at The Benjamin Spademan Gallery (14 Masons Yard, London, SW1Y 6BU) from the 5th – 13th July 2024, from 11am – 5pm each day. It is free to go and see and there is a catalogue with descriptions and images of the bindings available for purchase from the gallery.
