The Leathersellers Company Round Table Discussion

The Leathersellers Company is an ancient Livery Company of the City of London, ranked fifteenth in the order of precedence. Founded in 1444, it was initially responsible for regulating the leather trade within the City. Today, the Company focuses on supporting charity, education, and the British leather industry. 

Rachel Ward-Sale, former President and chair of our exhibition committee and Stuart Brockman, President, recently attended a round table discussion about the Leathersellers Company to share ideas on how to encourage and promote the use of leather. This discussion included tutors from many different crafts and institutions, as well as representatives from the Leathersellers. The meeting was followed by a fabulous black tie event.
